Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website boxofjoy.fun and related services (“Box of Joy”, the “Service”).

The Service is operated by Maksim Zimin PR, a sole proprietorship registered in Novi Sad, Serbia (PIB 115164867, MB 68149452) (“we”, “us”).

By creating a box, adding a wish or buying an upgrade you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Box of Joy lets you create an online gift box: a digital greeting card with wishes in text, photos, voice and video. You can invite other people to add their wishes through a shared link and deliver the box to the recipient by link or on a scheduled date.

The basic box is free. Optional paid upgrades are described on the Pricing page.

The Service does not collect, hold or transfer money between users and does not sell gift cards, vouchers or any other stored-value products.

Some features require signing in with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for everything done through your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher, to create an account or buy upgrades.

You keep all rights to the texts, photos, audio and video you add (“Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display the Content only to provide the Service: to show the box to people who have its link and to build the PDF book if you ordered it.

Anyone who has the link to a box can see it. Share links only with people you trust.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the Content and that people shown in photos or videos do not object to it.

You must not use the Service to upload or share:

• content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing or threatening;
• sexual content involving minors or any non-consensual intimate images;
• material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
• spam, malware, phishing or attempts to impersonate other people.

You also must not try to break, overload or bypass the limits of the Service. We may remove Content and suspend accounts that break these rules. To report a box, write to [email protected].

Upgrades (premium theme, music, no logo, video and voice, PDF wish book, forever storage) and bundles of them are one-time purchases. Current prices are listed on the Pricing page.

An upgrade applies only to the box it was bought for. It is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed. There are no subscriptions and nothing is renewed automatically.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment is subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Applicable taxes are calculated by Paddle and shown at checkout.

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Details are in the Refund Policy.

Free boxes and their files are deleted 12 months after the opening date, or after creation if no opening date is set. Boxes with the Forever storage upgrade are kept for as long as the Service operates. If we ever decide to close the Service, we will notify owners of such boxes at least 60 days in advance and let them download their content.

You can ask us to delete a box or your account at any time by writing to [email protected].

The Service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it available and your Content safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date at the top and, for important changes, notify registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
